The Race

This year, Ministry of Education Sports and Recreation Club (MESRC) is organizing the 12th MOE OLive Run 2020 on Saturday, 11 July 2020 at our new venue, Singapore Sports Hub, OCBC Square. The Run Segment will have both a competitive (5km individual and team & 10km individual race) and recreational (4km) element. The event hopes to attract up to 3,000 participants from MOE HQ and schools, Independent schools, NIE trainee teachers, S'pore Sports School, SEAB, ECDA staff and all family members.

A) The objectives of OLive Run are as follows :

a) To promote and support healthy lifestyle amongst MOE HQ and school staff and their families

b) To encourage staff and family bonding

c) To raise funds for the President’s Challenge 

B) Details of the event are as follows :

Event Date : Saturday, 11 July 2020

Venue : Singapore Sports Hub, OCBC Square

Eligibility : Open to all MOE staff, Independent school staff, NIE trainee teachers, S'pore Sports School, SEAB, ECDA staff and family members

Registration Deadline: Thursday, 9 April 2020

C) Prizes :

Prizes will be awarded according to:

  • 1st to 5th positions for all Open Categories (Independent school staff, NIE trainee teachers, S'pore Sports School, SEAB, ECDA staff and all family members)
  • 1st to 10th positions for all Closed Categories (MOE staff) including Mixed Team except Men/Women's Closed 5km (55 years old & above)
  • 1st to 6th positions for Men/Women's Closed 5km (55 years old & above)
  • DGE Challenge Shield
  • OLive Challenge Trophy


Mixed team winners will be decided by the total time taken to complete the race by the three runners (Each team to be made up of (2 males + 1 female, 1 male + 2 females or 3 females) from the same school or division.)

There will be no medals for Fun Walk.
