Rules & Regulations

  1. The MOE OLive Charity Run is open to all MOE staff, Independent school staff, NIE trainee teachers, S'pore Sports School, SEAB & ECDA staff and family members.
  2. Participants for the competitive events (except Fun Walk) must be 13 years and above as of 1 Jan 2020. All participants below the age of 21 as of 1 Jan 2020 must seek parental consent before they register for the race.
  3. For mixed team event, each team to be made up of (2 males + 1 female, 1 male + 2 females or 3 females) from the same school or division.
  4. Whilst every reasonable precaution will be taken by the Organisers to ensure the participants' safety, participants take part in this event at their own risks and the Organisers, their sponsors and their appointed officials shall not be liable for any death or injury, loss or damage, suffered or otherwise and howsoever arising.
  5. The Organisers reserve the right to delay the commencement of the race in the event of inclement weather. Should the inclement weather persist after delay, the Organisers reserve the right to cancel the race without any refund.
  6. All registrations is subject to availability and accepted on a first-come-first-served basis.
  7. Once registration has been duly processed, there will be no refund.
  8. Collection of Event T-shirts will be based on first-come-first-served basis.  When a particular size is not available, the next available size will be issued.
  9. The Organisers reserve the right to remove any participant deemed physically incapable of continuing with the race to prevent him/her from causing greater harm and injury to himself/herself.
  10. It is mandatory that all participants wear their race bib once the race has started. No running with bare torso is allowed.
  11. Participants must run on the designated path for the entire route. Failure to do so may result in disqualification.
  12. Gun time will determine the positions or winnings for individual and team competition across all categories.
  13. The Organisers reserve the right to use any photograph, motion picture recordings, or any other record of this race and its participants for any legitimate purpose, including commercial advertising.
  14. The Organisers reserve the right to limit and refuse entries without assigning any reasons thereof.
  15. The Organisers reserve the right to amend the Rules and Regulations without giving prior notification or any reasons thereof.
  16. All protests must be made at the command post for race within 30 minutes of the release of results. A S$50 protest fee will have to be submitted with the protest form which will be available at the race command post.
